Hong Yip Occupational Safety, Health cum Environmental Conference 2021 (Webcast)

Hong Yip held an annual “Occupational Safety cum Health and Environmental Conference 2021” on 29th July 2021 aiming to promote a safe and health workplace and to implement green initiatives for sustainable development and striving towards carbon neutrality. In order to support the local renewable energy generation, Hong Yip bought the Renewable Energy Certificate from CLP to offset all electricity consumption in the whole conference including its webcast.

The main themes of the Annual Conference this year were “Prevention of Heat Stroke at Work” and “Towards Carbon Neutrality”. We were honored to invite two guest speakers Ms. Chan Sze Yu, Occupational Hygienist (Development) from the Labour Department and CLP Power Hong Kong Limited Deputy Director of Corporate Customer Experience Mr. Lo Kwok Yau to share their professional expertise on preventing of Heat Stroke at work and various carbon reduction approaches respectively.

In keeping with implementing the corporate OSH and green management, we achieved numerous awards with remarkable results throughout the year. Hong Yip will continue to uphold the corporate OSH and green policies to pursue sustainable development.
