2012 Best Landscape Award

The Best Landscape Award for Private Property Development 2012 was organized by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and co-organized by the Home Affairs Department, The Hong Kong Institute of Architects, The Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects, Institute of Horticulture (Hong Kong), The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, Professional Green Building Council and The Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies with the aim of sustaining the betterment of living environment in private property and promoting excellence in greening by outstanding landscape design and horticultural maintenance.

 

This year, Hong Yip Service, Royal Elite Service and Grandeur Property Management won a total of 14 awards. The Gold award (Horticultural Maintenance category) went to Peak One to recognize its outstanding horticultural maintenance of the highest standard.

 

Assessment criteria:

  • Visual and landscape quality;
  • Sustainability including site coverage of greenery;
  • Excellence of horticultural maintenance;
  • Tree care;
  • Health and hygiene conditions;
  • Enhancement to urban livability;
  • Involvement and interaction of users;
  • Improvement to micro-environment; and
  • Improvement to neighboring landscape.
