The Parcville and Park Central won Grand and Merit Awards in the "Green Buildings Award 2008"

Green Buildings Award is organized by the Professional Green Building Council to provide recognition to buildings and research projects with outstanding features and contributions in sustainability and the environment and also to encourage the industry towards further adoption of sustainable planning, design, construction and maintenance of buildings.

The Parcville and Park Central have won the Grand Award and Merit Award of "Existing Buildings Category" respectively. For the Parcville, environmental features are integrated into the building design including rainwater recycling system, naturally ventilated semi-enclosed car park, environmental education pathway, water saving sanitary fittings, recyclable waste segregation bins on each floor, solar powered landscape lighting, etc. We do not only keep close communication with the residents via electronic notice board instead of paper for daily operation but also through home channel, environmental corridor, environmental suggestion box and newsletter to exchange and share green ideas with a view to enhancing the green living environment.

In the building design stage, Park Central widely adopted glazing design and skylight to facilitate maximization of natural lighting in the clubhouse and lobby. Green roof is also well maintained at the top of the Clubhouse to minimize urban heat island effect. We also provide waste collection bags on each floor of the building blocks for facilitation of waste separation at source.
