Cyberattacks in Hong Kong has been increasing in the recent years. In view of this problem, Hong Yip has been proactively enhancing the cybersecurity knowledge of our staff and obtained the highest tier, Platinum Award, in the first “Cyber Security Staff Awareness Recognition Scheme 2024”, showcasing our outstanding performance in the field of cybersecurity.

The scheme, co-organised by The Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC) and ISACA China Hong Kong Chapter (ISACA), aims to enhance the cybersecurity capabilities of companies, promote “Human Firewall” concept among the industry as a second level defense line, and recognize those with a high awareness of network security.

The scheme assesses companies' commitment to cybersecurity through a series of evaluation criteria, including cyber security training, phishing drill participation, comprehensive cyber security policy, reporting channels for cyber security issues, and dissemination of cyber security information, enhancing organisations’ protection level by raising staff awareness by various channels, such as training, policy, communication and drill, etc.

Hong Yip will continue to enhance cybersecurity awareness with regular trainings and drills, to ensure all staff can effectively respond to potential cyber threats. We aim to establish a strong cybersecurity defense line to adapt to the ever-changing digital environment, safeguarding the data and information of the company, customers, and staff.
