The PeaceBox Campaign, co-organised by Hong Yip and various organizations, aims to spread love and care to all corners of the city and send blessings to grassroot families who are in need.
Started with the idea of “Sharing of LOVE and BLESSINGS” in Easter in 2014, Hong Yip and other co-organisers are devoted to spread love and care through a box “PeaceBox” to connect the needs in the community. This little box is not only a support on food and daily necessities, but also a box full of love and care.
Mr. Alkin Kwong, Chairman and Chief Executive of Hong Yip, said, “For nine consecutive years, Hong Yip has joined hands with various NGOs and organizations to launch the PEACEBOX campaign. Although in times of the pandemic, people’s lifestyle and working environment have been changed, our heart to help and support the needy remains the same. Hong Yip will continue to contribute by forms of donation and giveaway, collecting blessings and necessities for the underprivileged community and spreading the power of love and care to all corners of the city.”
Over the past 9 years, near 75,000 peace boxes, packed with daily necessities, dried food, toys, stationeries and hygiene products etc, have been donated to grassroot families and the underprivileged, hoping to send them happiness, love and mutual care during the pandemic.
