Hong Yip held an annual “Occupational Safety cum Health and Environmental Conference 2022” on 26th July 2022 live and online to promote a safe and health workplace and to implement green initiatives. Hong Yip actively participate in the one-stop reliable recycling service GREEN COLLECT of the Environmental Protection Department. The GREEN COLLECT service has covered 9 districts, 24 large properties with over 40,000 units. We were honored to invite Ms. LEE Ho Ki, Iris, Assistant Director (Waste Management Policy) from the Environmental Protection Department to launch this program together at the conference, incorporating environmental elements into daily management and raising environmental awareness of the public.
This year, the main themes of Annual Conference were “Waste Management” and ”Safety of Truss-out Bamboo Scaffolds”. Mr. CHAN Yu Keung, Alex, Sr. Environmental Protection Officer and Dr. CHIU Yuen Wang, Alex, Sr. Environmental Protection Officer from the Environmental Protection Department shared the professional expertise on Waste Management. Mr. CHEUNG Dick Sang, Occupational Safety Officer from Labour Department shared the structure & safety work guidance of Truss-out Bamboo Scaffolds.
In addition, we achieved remarkable results in the occupational safety & health and green awards this year. Hong Yip will continue to promote the implementation of Occupational Safety & Health and green property management based on the concept of sustainability.
