Manager – Sports Development (Operations & Programs)

What you’ll be doing?

  1. Strategic Operations & Facility Oversight
  • Facility Excellence: Manage comprehensive sports facility operations, ensuring optimal functionality, safety, and hygiene standards across all courts and common areas.
  • Maintenance & Technical Management: Oversee technical maintenance, implement equipment tracking systems, and coordinate with specialized vendors for repairs and facility enhancements.
  • Operational SOPs: Design and enforce rigorous operational procedures to enhance efficiency, regulatory compliance, and the overall user experience.
  1. Program Innovation & Event Management
  • Revenue Generation: Develop and execute high-impact sports programs, social events, and international-standard tournaments (e.g., Padel, Pickleball, Tennis) to drive participation and achieve budget targets.
  • Vendor & Partner Relations: Manage relationships with external sports academies and service providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and strict contractual compliance.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Partner with the marketing team to promote offerings, enhance brand visibility, and maximize event attendance.
  1. Financial & People Leadership
  • Fiscal Accountability: Develop financial strategies, manage budgets, and provide detailed management reports with strategic insights on revenue forecasts and expenditures.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and motivation to a diverse team of staff and coaches, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and premium service standards.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Represent GO PARK Sports at community engagements and industry events, promoting the organization’s values and unique lifestyle sports positioning.

Who are we looking for?

  • Higher Diploma or above in any discipline
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in facility management, program coordination, or sports event management (at least 3 years in a supervisory/managerial capacity).
  • Proven track record of achieving aggressive budget targets and optimizing revenue streams within a sports or premium leisure environment.
  • Strong demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin).
  • Ability to work on weekends and public holidays is essential to support peak operations and event schedules.
