Hong Yip Won 9 Awards in “Excellence in Facility Management Award 2020” with Active Introduction of Innovative Green Management

Hong Yip Service Company Limited (“Hong Yip”) won 9 awards in Excellence in Facility Management Award 2020 organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management. Valais, among all, received Gold Award in Sustainability Theme Award (Residential), recognizing the team’s excellence services in facility management services by professional bodies.

Throughout the years, Hong Yip has been proactive in environmental protection and sustainable energy implementation, and exploring the feasibility of the utilization of solar energy. The team successfully installed 27 pieces of solar panels on the rooftop of the clubhouse in Valais together with the power invertor and real-time monitoring system. By implementing solar-powered equipment in daily operation, they were awarded Gold Award in Sustainability Theme Award (Residential). The management team of Valais will continue to create a green and beautiful living environment for residents by extending green environment in their property management work and setting stringent environmental standards for the property.

In addition, New Tech Plaza won Silver Award in Sustainability Theme Award (Institutional & Others); while Harbour North, Tsuen Wan Plaza (Shopping Arcade), 618 Shanghai Street, Caritas Bianchi College of Careers and Yan Fook Centre also received Excellence Awards respectively.
