118 buildings of Hong Yip management have achieved outstanding results with 3 Diamond, 2 Gold, 5 Silver, 17 Bronze, 6 Special Awards and Certificates in the 2011/12 Source Separation of Domestic and Commercial & Industrial Waste Awards organized by the Environmental Protection Department.

Hong Yip is devoted to innovative, proactive and concerted efforts on environmental issues and management with a view to enhance green living for residents. The green initiatives include waste-to-goodies activities and old book collection for charitable purpose as well as used clothes collection, reused electronic equipment collection and source separation of waste particularly on food waste collection on each floor of buildings to increase recovery rate.
