Hong Yip is the Champion (Property Management Category) in the Friends of the Earth Power Smart Contest

Hong Yip won the Championship of the Biggest Unit Saver Award (Property Management) in the 7^th Energy Saving Contest - “Power Smart 2012”, organized by the Friends of the Earth (HK). In the summer of 2012, Hong Yip has accumulated electricity saving of 4.78 million KWh while all participating property management companies saved a total of 42 million KWh in ‘Property Management Category” during this 92-day contest  

Hong Yip strives to implement energy saving policy, by monitoring energy usage at our managed properties to control energy consumption. In order to further achieve our energy saving target, Hong Yip focuses on establishing five energy saving measures which include energy audit, operational planning of the building services system, implementation of energy saving programme and communication, investment in energy saving etc. Energy saving products including VVVF drive for lift systems, variable frequency drive for potable water pumps, and energy saving lighting systems are being adopted as far as possible.
