Hong Yip attained the Gold Certificate in commendation for actively promoting Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) with two QF Commendations

Through its “Hong Yip People Development Academy”, Hong Yip provides a wide range of in-house training programmes to its staff and sponsors them to attend various professional courses organized by tertiary educational institutes and leading professional associations. Hong Yip has been actively promoting the Qualifications  Framework (QF) in our workplace particularly, its RPL scheme, which recognizes their skills and working experience so that they can move along the ladder of progression. Almost 500 staff successfully obtained the QF qualification attainment by way of the RPL mechanism.

In the Qualifications Framework Partnerships Commendation Ceremony held on 6 December 2012, The Secretary for Education, Mr. Eddie Ng Hak-kim, who officiated at the Ceremony, presented us the Gold Certificate for actively promoting the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) together with the Certificates of Commendation for developing industry-related Specification of Competency Standards-based courses and for our outstanding contribution in adopting the QF for human resources functions in our company.
