Hong Yip Service Company Limited (“Hong Yip”) is always committed to advocating environmental protection and energy conservation, enhancing buildings’ energy efficiency and implementing energy emission reduction. Thus we actively support the government’s environmental policies and measures, including “Retro-commissioning” (RCx) scheme, one of the key projects of the 4Ts partnership programme by Hong Kong Environment Bureau. Currently over 10 practitioners and professionals in our Company have registered in the RCx Training and Registration Scheme. Hong Yip is also the first property management company in Hong Kong which successfully registered as RCx Services Provider (Type A: RCx Facility Management Firms). In the future we will be devoted to promoting retro-commissioning in our managed properties to further enhance energy efficiency, save electricity and reduce greenhouse gas emission, in order to build a better living environment for customers and take the lead in the industry to implement Retro-commissioning (RCx) for environmental contribution.

“Retro-commissioning” scheme is the latest environmental initiative promoted by the Environment Bureau via The Hong Kong Green Building Council, with the ultimate aim to motivate property owners or property management companies to improve buildings’ energy consumption performance. Last year our managed properties “Sun Hung Kai Centre” and “Mikiki” won “RCx Merit Award”, origanized by the Environment Bureau and EMSD. This demonstrates Hong Yip’s dedication to sustainability development and commitment to uplift environmental sustainability standards, creating a livable and greener lifestyle for customers.
