Hong Yip received "Award of 10,000 Hours for Volunteer Service" Harbour Place, Prima Villa and The Parcville named “Leading Caring Estates”

Hong Yip volunteering team was formed in 2001 and endeavored to co-operate with NGOs focusing on caring for the underprivileged. Hong Yip currently has 50 volunteer teams to help a cross section of community groups including the elderly, low-income families and people with disabilities. It also participates in the programmes organized by SWD to widely serve those in need to benefit the community. 

In the Recognition Ceremony from the Steering Committee on Promotion of Volunteer Service, the Social Welfare Department on 15 July 2017, Hong Yip was honored to receive “Award of 10,000 Hours for Volunteer Service” while Harbour Place, Prima Villa and The Parcville were named “Leading Caring Estates”. The award was presented in recognition of its commitment to social services and care for the underprivileged.
