Hong Yip named “QF Gold Star Employer” under “Qualifications Framework” Scheme
Hong Yip has been named the “QF Gold Star Employer” under ”Qualifications Framework” Scheme by the Education Bureau at the QF Partnerships Commendation Ceremony 2018 cum QF 10th Anniversary Celebration on 14 May 2018, in recognition of its active support and participation in the Scheme over the past years. Hong Yip being named the Gold Star Employer to commend its following achievements and contributions in promoting manpower development:
1. Hong Yip, as the pioneer of running QF training programs in the industry, is currently operating 15 QF recognized in-house training programs, accounting for over 50% of QF programs offered by all companies in the industry.
2. Hong Yip is the first commercial company among all industries that has entered into an agreement on Credit Accumulation and Transfer with tertiary institutes to provide its staff training opportunities in a more flexible way.
3. Among all industries, Hong Yip’s employees have completed and obtained the most number of certificates in the “Recognition of Prior Learning” Scheme.
